Debate Prime is a global team of elite debate and public speaking professionals committed to developing the next generation of world-class debaters and communicators.

While we offer writing and public speaking courses, our core mission is to help schools, institutions, and individuals build strong, sustainable debate programs. We do this by coaching young professionals, training staff, and delivering high-level consulting on competitive debate strategy and structure.

We specialize in personalized 1-on-1 online coaching but also offer customized group classes by request. Our team includes some of the most experienced coaches on the planet—experts who’ve helped organizations elevate their programs and guided students to championship wins at the highest levels of competition.

About Coach Jay
Coach Jay, founder of Debate Prime, began his journey as a high school Lincoln-Douglas competitor, earning multiple scholarships and qualifying for the National Catholic Forensic League Tournament. After college, he was invited to teach at Harvard’s prestigious summer debate program and has since trained hundreds of students across New York City, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Today, Coach Jay leads Debate Prime while coaching students globally—including from countries like Qatar, Germany, and Scotland. With a deep passion for debate and a proven track record of success, Coach Jay is ready to help you reach your highest potential.
